We have not been able to find much research of anything on this item. It was purchased from a WWII veteran's estate...family just knows that it was at least from the 1950's. There are no marking on this item. No cracks, or rot areas. Probably never used! $25.00 SOLD

Vintage Hocking Glass Company set of 22 glasses and 1 pitcher. The 22 glasses are comprised of 8 - 5 ounce glasses, 8 - 10 ounce glasses, and 6 - 12 ounce glasses. The pattern is Ring and the color is Crystal. The pattern is the original version of "banded rings" which are colored rings. These rings are clear crystal.
They were manufactured between 1927-1933. The manufacture pattern number is 1300. From: Official Price Guide to Depression Glass 1986, 2nd edition. When Hocking Glass introduced this pattern, they said "Our famous "Ring" design, know and appreciated everywhere for its extrodinary brililance and sparkle. Each piece is artistic and graceful in shape." You will also get the original box with this purchase. Interesting fact: You are getting a boxed package of "25" items (remember 2 are missing). No where in my research is it published that they made this large of a set (I could only find 18.). This can be verified at the following website: justglass.com/documents/articles/inhouse/trietsch1.html This inhouse article was written by Rosemary Trietsch for Just Glass. $100.00 SOLD |

Stunning vintage "Porcelier" Perculator
Floral design with matching sugar and creamer
|
This is stunning 4 piece coffee purculator by Porcelier. This is how we found it: As we were "treasure hunting" through the basement of a lady's house, we come across this tied up garbage bag with a box in it. I putt my hand down into the box, I notice a great deal of black soot in the box and now on my hands...soot that most people would associate with coal or ashes in a fireplace. I pulled out this soot covered object, took my hand and rubbed the soot off a side of it and saw this beautiful floral design on a ceramic container. As I wiped down more of the perculator, I saw the green tag handing from the handle...this thing had never been used. To my surprise, I discovered a creamer, sugar, and power cord. Amazingly, the perculator cover was still on the top of the pot...inside was the ground basket still wrapped in the brown paper and all the registration papers for the set! The entire collection is in perfect stunning condition! Selling for $65.00 - and yes, it works! SOLD |
